A Poem by Lonely Martian

peel away my skin and count
the creases on my intestines
left by the blow of realising
that some stars are dead
and constellations cling
to a fading image

Love it, really simplistic but deep in meaning! Keep it up!

I love the imagery in this - very visceral and real. It left me yearning for more, but at the same time was summed up very nicely. They say a picture's worth a thousand words; but I think it's more impressive when a small handful of words paint a picture. Great work!
