Awake

Inspired by a new friend, I see the world is broken. We can help more than just ourselves, so let us. Wake up, and see for yourself how much you can really help.

Without anyone to tell us

Not to sleep forever

That's what we do

We forget about the world

Blinded by apathy

Selfish and alone

We live without helping

Those that need us most

We live in bliss

A pseudo-happiness

Where we live to live

And they live to die.

But who will stand and say

That we are the ones

Who must sacrifice our bliss

And give them true happiness

We all need someone to tell us

To stay awake forever

So that's what I'll do

To help out the world
