A Woman as Lovely as the SeasonsA Poem by Thanatos96Written in love, and for love, yet lost long ago.
She is as the Sky on a fair Summer day;
Cloudless and clear while naught but Joy is carried on the voice of the wind. She is as a Lake on a cool Spring morning; Cool and dangerous at first touch, But then she embraces you warmly and lovingly. She is as the Air on a brisk Winter evening; Cold and cruel at the earliest impression, But then you see the snow and realize the dawn has yet to break. She is as a Tree on an Autumn twilight; All her leaves have fallen off and the sun has gone down, But through it all she is relentless and continues on... © 2013 Thanatos96Author's Note
