Shattered

Shattered

A Poem by A Modern Hippy

You dropped a glass on the concrete tiles, and it

shattered into a million tiny pieces.

Nothing is missing, and if given the sheer

persistence and time, you could mend the glass,

piece by piece.

But it will never be the same, there will always be cracks.
