Author's Note

A Modern Hippy
This is a class that is very rarely used but when done so is often very important to both the plot and the characters of a story. However, because of the lack of use, they are not a clearly defined class and so despite their role are often fairly shallow characters, or are only present for the very brief period that their assistance to the story is necessary.
I find this a shame, as I consider them to be one of the more reliable classes to write with.
With this concept, I tried to give a clear definition to what I feel MAKES a sentry class identifiable and to allow them some choice and variation in what they are capable of doing in the execution of their duty (namely, guarding stuff) without weakening them or making them just one of the other classes doing a different job.
The form of the spells and skills is entirely in the hands of any writer who takes some inspiration from my models.
