He is intelligent and aware, but when fighting relies solely on his instincts and the habits born of long practice within his forms. [Backstory: A Templar Commander of the Last Crusade, he led his squad into an old temple under the streets of Jerusalem. Here he came across a suit of armour kneeling before a statue of a strange, hunched creature. Upon touching the suit he passed out, and when he came to he was wearing the armour, with his unit mere scraps of metal and meat strewn around him and the word ‘Feed’ written in blood on the floor. While he was still in shock, he watched as his wife, son and daughter were torn apart over their dinner while saying grace, a blasphemy that nearly broke him. Unable to kill himself due to the armour’s influence and his own ideals, and having to watch his family die whenever he was not fighting, he began his hunt for foes strong enough to end his existence, destroy the armour and send his tortured soul to rest]. © 2014 A Modern HippyAuthor's Note
