Word: AnthropomorphismA Story by A Modern Hippy
I gazed at the keys.
I'm not sure what I was planning. I never told Myself what I was planning in Me. Things got about if you told anyone. So I didn't. The keys gazed back at Me, impassive and implacable, ivory faces blank. I love the word for it. Anthropomorphism. An-throp-poe-more-fizz-m. As if the vowels were launching themselves in an energetic attempt at flight, the consonants just sliding off your tongue in a stream of slippery sound. Keys unlock things. That would be a good start.
