The Girl I Never LovedA Poem by ThaizarUnrequited love with a girlShe walks by every day, Her hair in the wind above, Her smile like the sun's ray. I watch her from afar, But never dare to speak, For fear of leaving a scar, On her heart so meek. Her eyes so bright and blue, Her laugh like a melody, I wish I could pursue, But it's just not meant to be. For in my heart there lies, Another love so true, And though I may admire, The girl I never knew. I'll cherish her from afar, And let her live her life, For though she may be a star, She'll never be my wife. So let her be free, To dance in the moonlight, And though she may never see, I'll love her from the height.
