The Girl I Never Loved

The Girl I Never Loved

A Poem by Thaizar
"

Unrequited love with a girl

"
She walks by every day,
Her hair in the wind above,
Her smile like the sun's ray.

I watch her from afar,
But never dare to speak,
For fear of leaving a scar,
On her heart so meek.

Her eyes so bright and blue,
Her laugh like a melody,
I wish I could pursue,
But it's just not meant to be.

For in my heart there lies,
Another love so true,
And though I may admire,
The girl I never knew.

I'll cherish her from afar,
And let her live her life,
For though she may be a star,
She'll never be my wife.

So let her be free,
To dance in the moonlight,
And though she may never see,
I'll love her from the height.

Author's Note

Thaizar
"The girl I never loved" is a common theme in literature and popular culture that refers to a person who had the potential to be a romantic partner but was never pursued or reciprocated. This can result in feelings of regret, longing, and nostalgia.

The theme is often used to explore the complexities of human relationships and the unpredictability of love. It can also be a way to reflect on missed opportunities or the road not taken in life.

However, it is important to note that romantic love is not the only kind that exists and that it is possible to have fulfilling and meaningful relationships of different kinds without it. It is also important to respect others' feelings and boundaries and communicate openly and honestly in any relationship.
