My trunk may be shriveled and dry
and in this swelt'ring heat I fry. My faith is great and my hopes high. Strong willed am I, strong willed am I. ``` Once I stood tall upon this land. Until drought turned my soil to sand. Thousands of acres green and grand. Now scorched and bland, now scorched and bland! ``` This land 'twas once a treasure vault. This climate change the humans fault. Can blame them all for this assault. Too late to halt, too late to halt. ``` I've weathered many a heartache. I shall survive make no mistake. I may be bent but I won't break. Futures at stake, futures at stake. ``` I'll try my best and I won't fail. I'm tough inside though I look frail. My willpower you cannot flail. I will prevail, I will prevail~ ~~~```~~~```~~~```~~~```~~~
