Back Porch Nature

Back Porch Nature

A Poem by Texas
"

Not one of my best, I know, but it's for fun. :)

"

Experiencing nature doesn't have to be the big and great outdoors.

It can be a back porch.

Back porches have a world of their.

Sage and Zinnias and Lantanas and Lavender and Rosemary and Mexican Heather.

Colors and smells in wide variety.

A new year's resolution can be as small as sitting out on a back porch surrounded by

   little things of nature.

With winter birds at the feeders and a book in hand and a wool blanket,

A new year's resolution can start on on a  back porch.

I think finding nature in our back yard is more meaningful that if we go out searching for it. These simple pleasures are the best ones in my opinion. I really like this little poem.

Very true....though my back porch has snow on it, and the flowers are all melted by the heat of cold...I understand what you are saying..
Thank you for saying me this poem....
