Depression

Depression

A Poem by Texas
"

It's a poem I wrote for my Freshman English class in high school.

"

Depression is like a grey-black colour.

It sounds like the loudest silence there is in the world.

It smells like rotted food.

Depression feels like a cold body in a hot desert.

Regardless of you thinking it's lame, I like this little piece.

Everything in this is smooth, and is written nicely.

I especially love the second and last line. 'Loudest silence'. Very nice. :D
