One, Two, Blessings and Sheep

One, Two, Blessings and Sheep

A Poem by Texas
"

I wrote this one night when I couldn't sleep. It was inspired by a Ziggy cartoon.

"

One, two,

How many blessings do I have?

Three, four,

More than I can count.

Five, six,

That's how God wants it to be.

Seven, eight,

That's how I want it too!

Nine, ten,

Why should I argue?

Eleven, twelve,

That's how He planned it.

Thirteen, fourteen,

What more do I need?

Fifteen, sixteen,

I need no more.

Seventeen, eighteen,

What do I do when I can't sleep?

Nineteen, twenty,

I count my blessings before I count my sheep!
