The Troubles We Go ThroughA Poem by TexasWhat do think? And once again, written during free time in Physics. Our troubles in life are ne'er easy, Are ne'er kind, Are ne'er gentle, Are ne'er filled with comfort. We fear the troubles wear us down, Break our spirits, Break our souls, Blind our path. But these troubles that we go through, Teach us how to live and love. Troubles are ne'er easy for life is hard, Ne'er kind for society is cruel, Ne'er gentle nor filled with comfort for our hearts do break but mend again in time. Troubles do not wear us down, Nor break our spirits, Nor break our souls, Nor blind our path. Troubles keep us up, Keep our spirits from breaking, Keep our souls from perishing, Keep our paths open for us to take. The troubles that we go through Teach us how to live and love. But if they teach us how to live and love, Then how are they troubles? © 2010 TexasAuthor's Note
