Lyrical Laughter

Lyrical Laughter

A Poem by Gary West
"

Just a silly rhyme, just for laughs. :D

"
Every time I walk around
I stop to smell the roses

I breath in and then sneeze out
And why, do you supposes?

Have I got an allergy?
Do I need some shotses?

A giant needle stabbing me?!
I tell you, I think notses!
__________________________
Every time I go to town
I get the oddest lookses

'Cause on my head I carry me
A great tall stack of bookses

It causes me such headaches and
I make the strangest faces

Despite all of the trouble, though
I would not trade you places
__________________________
When I drink a soda pop
I get the worst hiccupses

And afterwords, I try to speak
They always interruptses

People laugh at me and ask
Why do I takes a drinkses

I giggle and I answer back
"It's more fun than you thinkses!"
__________________________
When I'm at the grocery store
I sometimes get the munchies

If all I had for breakfast was
A bowl of Capt'n Crunchies

I fill my cart with Milky Ways
And those Whatchamacallits

And when I go to pay the clerk
He empties my whole wallets
_________________________
I like to make the people laugh
And so I tell them jokeses

I see myself a wealthy man
Even though I'm brokeses

Never do I worry me
In any circumstances

If I meet an enemy
I'm armed with goofy dances

Not much to tell. I like to dabble in writing every now and again, as well as penning a few poems and songs. My preferred genre of writing is fantasy, but I've also touched into the "modern" setting, .. more..
