Starlight In My Eyes

  I dance alone in the stars as they shine on me as I spin and suddenly a man is dancing alongside me through the stars, letting them talk behind us as we soar higher and higher into space. I laugh as I find the man in the moon watching us as he twirls me around as we spin higher still. I gasp as I look down to find the swirl of stars in the Milky Way and we dance further away from the world I called home for so long.

  All I see are stars as we dance leaving the Milky Way far behind us when we land on a ground made of diamonds, his home and I gasp as I look around us when he takes my hand again and leads me to a pavilion and we continue to dance. I smile as he lifts me up toward the sapphire sky and sets me down gently as I guide him as he holds my waist gently as we dance together for what feels like a lifetime, never stopping.
