Forgotten

Forgotten

A Poem by tess
"

To anyone who has lost a friend lately and feels like they are alone, you are not the only one!

"
When Im alone what do I think about?
It’s a simple question with a million answers
As if every little crisis at once is pulling at my mind
Clawing and digging their way through
But one thing sticks out from the rest
You
A perfect little mistake can make the biggest hole
Moving it's way into
Reaching the only thing human left inside of me
That little mistake soon creates a poison
Killing and changing without a cure
Running through my brain and spilling out my eyes
Causing the human left in me to wilt and dry
When your alone what do you think about?
It’s a simple question with a million answers
And out of all the answers in the world
Not one is about me

Truly captures the struggle of a loss! Love the use of words like 'poison' and 'perfect little mistake.' Really good job!

I suck at poetry..... I am sort of in love with Walt Whitman..... (Yes I know that my font is small; it is like that for a reason: there to resemble life/the things we have to pay close attention.. more..
