A Dreaming Disaster

A Dreaming Disaster

A Poem by TerumiF
"

How many times have we been let down but when the question points at you...haven't we done it too. haven't we dreamt so ambitiously and not succeeded or realised that maybe those dreams aren't you?

"

I dreamed a dream so far away

so distant that bends come in the way

Can I see it? I look intensely close

only to find my dreams buried in snow

snow not white but rather black

tar maybe, some this some that

I plunder deep, I pull, I try

but somehow disaster approaches sky

No please NO, this isn't right

I'll hurt, I'll sore but continue,fight

I'll die but not give up my might

suddenly anew this golden ray

amidst darkness gone astray

but as I reach to grasp it firmly

it disappears and leaves me...lonely

should I surrender? lose this game

fall back, be okay with no name

for I stood so bright amongst those others

or at least I thought I did, a beautiful blunder.

I'm hurt so deep, so lost

for fantasy escapes me of what I thought

please talent pave my way through

as I give every piece of me to you.

I wait patiently...
