Spider's MealA Poem by TerryA Spider catches it's mealAll legs. Walking in. They stretch forth to destiny, Of hunter’s hunted. Mending fibrous webs. Legs stretch inward and outward. Rapidly crafting, Its snare had caught it. Destiny had brought it. Prey, Moving, stretching, snare. All legs closing in. They stretch forth to end Prey’s fate. Wrap, suffocating The hunter’s snare sprung The prey’s life ends quickly now All legs stretches off. © 2021 Terry |
