Spider's Meal

Spider's Meal

A Poem by Terry
"

A Spider catches it's meal

"

All legs.  Walking in.

They stretch forth to destiny,

Of hunter’s hunted.

Mending fibrous webs.

Legs stretch inward and outward.

Rapidly crafting,

Its snare had caught it.

Destiny had brought it. Prey,

Moving, stretching, snare.

All legs closing in.

They stretch forth to end Prey’s fate.

Wrap, suffocating

The hunter’s snare sprung

The prey’s life ends quickly now

All legs stretches off.
