Wanna Hear a Sad Story?

Wanna Hear a Sad Story?

A Poem by Spaghetti Head

Do you want to hear a sad story?
That's deeper than the abyss
that the Kraken is enlisted in,
with more ways to get lost
than traveling the rabbit hole from the start?
If I could be a part of the constellations
then I'd die today, and forget this place
in favor of making friends with the stars.

But that wouldn't be a sad story.
No, I have to suffer.
I have to swim down to suffocate
with the beasts in the sea.
I have to be buried alive
before I could ever know the value of breathing.
If I could go in space
then I should go in the evening
So that the sun could burn me down
Before I could ever peek at its face.

I do live a sad story, though,
where no matter how hard I try
I will never see the bottom of the deep.
I probably wont make anything on Earth
higher than a tree,
and what's worse whenever I look up
all I see is pitch black
and its teeth.
