The Waters Rise

The Waters Rise

A Story by Spaghetti Head
"

The paradise of love.

"
You've got the eyes of a moon
that could bring about monsoons and tsunamis,
or make the waters calm enough for our need;
What ever they may be.

Your lips, as I look down,
remind me of that sound you listen to when we lay in the sand
and you rest your head on my chest.
You said I have the heart of a lion that would devour any prey
that came his way,
but you kissed  me with all your heart and made a way;
What ever way that may be.

Your scent gives me a pleasure to delve deeper with my tongue,
as your eyes begin to upset the waters and I am forced to pause, to look
up at the sky as the lightning strikes through the stars at a trillion miles.
Yes, it is too late to turn around, but we were going somewhere
that led closer and closer to you coming;
What ever way you come.

And your eyes in the sky,
rolled back like the oceans,
clouding the moon in one swift motion,
over take me and us as I swallow the love potion.
