After You're Gone.

After You're Gone.

A Poem by Terry Collett
"

people and friendship and lies.

"

After you're gone
they'll draw the curtains,

lock all doors,
put away the booze

and wash the glasses,
stoke the fire,

shut up the books,
go to bed

in a rush
and whisper

about you
and what you said.
