GORDPLATTER'S ANALYSIS.A Poem by Terry CollettA MIND DOCTOR AND HIS FEMALE PATIENT.Gordplatter sits in his black leather Chair, his fingers folded across his Belly with features of one suffering Constipation. He studies the girl who Has come for analysis. Her hair is lank And unbrushed, she has spots, her eyes Are red at the rims. He listens as she Speaks about her childhood, about her Mother, about how she was never loved, About her boyfriend Harry and how he Always wants to have sex, but she doesn’t. Gordplatter notes her earrings, small silver Quarter moons hanging. He asks her softly To recline on the black leather couch. She reclines and stares up at the ceiling. He gets up from his chair and walks over To the couch. She has small tits and thin Thighs, he notes. She talks of her boyfriend’s Mother who never speaks to her when she Visits with him, but stares at her, talking over Her to her son. Gordplatter notices a small Stud pierced into one side of her nose. He Stands over the girl with his hands in his Pockets, listening. The girl talks about her CD collection; about how long it takes her To dress in the mornings with her OCD and How her mother moans about it. He spots Black hairs growing from her upper lip, all Alone, just three black hairs. The girl talks Boringly on. Gordplatter smiles and stares. © 2011 Terry Collett |
