CYNTHIA LIKES TO.A Poem by Terry CollettA WOMAN LIKES TO WEAR SILK.Cynthia likes to Wear silk; she likes its Smoothness against her Skin, loves the way it Runs over her flesh Like a lover’s hand. Sometimes she puts on Silk underwear to Work at the office, To feel its sexy Sensuousness as She walks from desk to Desk and then sits down. Sometimes she wears none At all, but misses The silky caress That she loves the best. Now sitting on the Polished floor in the Manager’s office While he’s at lunch, she Senses the coldness Through the silkiness, Feels her flesh tingle, The goose bumps coming Along the tense thighs. At home, in the hushed Privacy of her Rooms, she walks naked, Imagining a Young Marlon Brando Following her with His eyes or she wears A silky nightgown And struts from bed to Window like some French Sexy actress in A late night film. But Now sitting on the Manager’s office Floor, gazing around The room, sniffing the Air, feeling the touch Of hardness on her A*s, the cold touch, the Silkiness so thin, She wonders, if she Hadn’t been just an Office girl, what else She may have been and Silky soaked in sin. © 2011 Terry Collett |
