AUSCHWITZ CHAIM.

AUSCHWITZ CHAIM.

A Poem by Terry Collett
"

A BOY WHO DIED IN AUSCHWITZ.

"

Chaim stood on
The chair the

Adventure
Had begun

Steadying
Himself with

One hand on
The chair’s back

The other
Holding on

To his hat
Be careful

Chaim said his
Mother don’t

Fall and she
Ran towards

Him as he
Laughed and moved

Beneath the
Warm sun and

Grabbed him close
To her breast

Kissed his head
Unaware

That later
In Auschwitz’s

Dark chambers
None will care.

Very sad to think of all the children who were taken away merely because of what they were. Great job.
