Rain Stopped.

Rain Stopped.

A Poem by Terry Collett

The rain had stopped,

Raindrops from trees

Fell long after.

The cows stood there

Under the oak

Close together

Making moo sounds

Or eating grass

What grass there was.

None of the moved

From the shelter,

They waited there

Although the sun

Was shining out

There once again

And no more rain.
