I LOVE PARISA Poem by Terry CollettA WOMAN IN PARIS AND HER BETRAYING LOVER.J'aime Paris, Lulu said, to herself as Marcel was out, and there was no one else there to hear, and she wished he was there with her now, not out some place, probably with some w***e making the love as he termed it il aime ses putains, he actually said. Lulu is tired of the book she was reading and tired of Marcel too. Ah, he said, as he left you are my precious pearl, Pierre précieuse, he actually said, and his words trickled into her head as she closed her eyes, pretending he was out buying her flowers and chocs and maybe some gem, but she knew deep down, he wasn't, he was just a man, just one of them. © 2016 Terry Collett |
