GOES GLUG GLUG 1997

GOES GLUG GLUG 1997

A Poem by Terry Collett
"

AN IRISH WOMAN IN A BATH IN 1997 WISHING IT WAS HER LOVER WAITING FOR HER RATHER THAN HER HUSBAND WANTING SEX IN THEIR BED

"

Nuala
has to bath
and wash off

Una's scent
and love juice
see just where

the love bites
(a light brown)
are on skin

she sits down
in the hot
foamed water

lets it soak
into her
about her

Brian's in
the bedroom
in their bed

patiently
waiting there
wanting sex

he feels it
bubbling up
seeing it

in his mind
the sex scene
her body

beneath him
him surging
into her

Nuala
imagines
it's Una

in the bed
waiting there
butt naked

her thick thatch
welcoming
but it's not

it's Brian
laying there
thinking up

some sex games
to be played
she's been bad

naughty girl
he will say
as master

and will smack
her behind
in his game

Brian reads
an old book
of cowboys

and Wild West
wanting her
in the bed

in the dark
Nuala
pulls the plug

listens as
the water
goes glug glug.
