OF MAN AND MEN 1997.A Poem by Terry CollettA WIFE MUSES ON HER HUSBAND IN IRELAND IN 1997 AND HER FEMALE LOVER.Nuala lay in bed gazing at the ceiling, Brian slept after a quick f**k, his juices lay on her p***y and thighs. She sighed, looked at the shadows where the odd vehicle's headlights came and went, voices from passing people or drunks on their way home, she wanted it to have been Una who lay with her, not Brian and his sweated body, her hand on her thigh, not his sleep-lain, wanted her juices drying on her fingers and skin, not his spent spunk sticky warm. She loved him though in her own way, she mused, giving his back a quick glance in the semi dark, he was kind and thoughtful in his way, had a loving nature as some men may, that way of looking with big eyes stare, his silly jokes and such, but Una she loved the more and deeper sought her body and her mind and her sexual games and foreplay depths. How could she treat Brian so? he deserves much more and better, does not deserve this plain betrayal she had bred, not the stab in the back to cause him hurt within his head. Una had quickened her to sexual heights as he could not, opened her up with a single touch which he left lame, Una knew just where to feel or hold to bring her on where he just fumbled in a schoolboy manner and gave it one and shot and then lay down to deeper sleep or hollow slumber. She turned and faced the window's dim light of moon and stars or traffic's passing by just now and then and mused on the failure her man and men. © 2016 Terry Collett |
