SENSE HER STILLA Poem by Terry CollettA MAN AND WOMAN ON HOLIDAY IN 1972I watch her Abela as she sleeps I've showered now I sit drinking tea dressed and clean I study her body lying there one leg out of the blue bed covers one slim arm on her thigh eyelids closed like small shells we had toured street by street the old part of the town part of the evening then drank in some small bar until late last night sex seemed like a first class meal I sit here watching her and sense her body still. © 2015 Terry Collett |
