THE SEA AND HER 1962A Poem by Terry CollettA BOY AND GIRL IN 1962 AND A PROMISED KISSI see her Shoshana on the grass with some girl lunch recess warmish sun overhead hi Naaman she calls out the girl goes as I come and sit down watching her taking in her black hair and dark eyes the green skirt and white blouse she's talking of lessons history of some king with 6 wives I like how close she is to me now she sitting with her feet tucked under her behind she says this English king had 2 wives beheaded I want to hold her hand feel her flesh sense her pulse through her nerves I listen watch her lips how they move study her small tight tits beneath her grey/white blouse he divorced 2 of them she tells me as we sit Shoshana I break in and take hold of her hand forget kings and their queens think of this this touching this feeling us here now wanting to here I pause wanting to? she asks me wanting what? just to kiss lips to lips I tell her she blushes looks away not here though not right here somewhere else not today she tells me I love her darkish eyes like gazing at a deep dark sea. © 2015 Terry Collett |
