THE THING TO DO.A Poem by Terry CollettA MAN GOES CLOTHES SHOPPING WITH HIS DAMEWhat do you think about this dress? Johnny's dame asked is it too short? he looked at the blue dress the length the tightness the way it hung no it's ok he said ok what? she asked too long too short does it fit me well? he looked at her standing in front of a mirror in the clothes store her a*s was big in it her breasts were kind of trying to fight their way out of the top yes it looks well on you he said she turned around in front of the mirror looking at herself as she turned are you sure it looks ok? sure it does he said fits like a glove I'm not buying gloves she said I'm buying a darn dress she looked at herself over her shoulder at her backside and her back her waist it seems kind of tight she said is it kind of tight no well only where it touches he said a young dame walked by a member of staff he guessed hey he said how's my dame look in the dress? the member of staff came across and looked at the dress and turned Johnny's dame around I think you need a larger size Madam this is a bit on the small size and walked off you see Johnny's dame said you are useless to talk to about clothes why do I ask you about clothes you know nothing why I could have walked out of here looking a tramp and you'd not turn a hair she said Johnny watched a young dame walk by pushing a pram her dress fitted neat narrowing and widening up where it ought and no not too short so what are you going to do? he asked his dame come again with someone else she said not you ok he said that's the thing to do. © 2015 Terry Collett |
