Last year
I suggested
to the landlord
about getting
a new fence,
I even offered
to pay for it
& they gave me
a long list
of requirements
that would have
to be met,
which I fell asleep
reading & we spoke
no more about it.
This morning
I woke to find
to old fellas
putting up
a new fence,
apparently
it was the landlord's idea
& the rents
just gone up,
so technically
I am still
paying for it.
Now
that I've acquired
the power of suggestion,
I’m wondering
what I can get next?
