Patience

Patience

A Poem by T.a Walling

Green clover, sea rover,

I call you over.

Come sit by my side,

Just for a moment.

Be the stars in Starry Night,

Colours of all that is right.

In my dreams an image hit,

Of that moment and all your wit.

Yet caught up in a sense of duty,

I ignored the feeling and all your beauty.

Inside my mind a seed still grew,

The storm held up and then I knew.

That time will go forever on,

A moment is like a forgotten song.

When I wake and wonder how?

That moment will become my now.
