TimeA Poem by NyxYou can run from time but it will always catch you.
Give me the chance to live without haste
Time and I begin our superfluous race The eminent threat of finality rests Heavily burdened, limp on my chest I stand rigid in a room of mirrors Where my actions are displayed clear like my fears Cover my eyes, close my ears The reverberations of regret incite a flood of tears As the Love and Happiness come to naught I surrender to Him, my hands interlocked With Kronos, my father, watching me falter Time moves forward, and I’m left to ponder © 2020 NyxReviews
