Rock

A Poem by Nyx
"

Ground me.

"
If you loved me, why did you leave me?
Cold on the streets, isolated from touch
No hands to remind me of the feeling of love
I roamed into alleys, dark looted havens
To idealize your presence as a city light beacon
When I traveled upon the naked concrete
I envisioned the solidity of your back on mine
The constant reminder-
Of a stolid confine.

A search for a lover,... why did she leave you if she loved you? so many of us go through this, and cannot figure out the reason.... so frustrating....looking for her was to nought...the question unanswered is why.
Nice imagery.
Best, B
