Grey

Grey

A Poem by Nyx
"

Grey isn’t just a color, it’s an emotion.

"
I desired nothing
So I became nothing
A world of noir so delicately untouched
Grey skies, grey mountains
No color left for us
We roamed and traveled
With no end in sight
The eyes of the dead
No longer had light
But a grey shadow left upon them
Drove us farther from paradise
And into a grey deserted wasteland
We fell not once-
But twice
To the colorless decay
Which plagued the dusty night
