Green

Green

A Poem by Nyx
"

The color green is a metaphor in itself.

"
The trees and the meadow
What a pleasant sight
Images of land untouched
By humans and their rights
With rain drizzled berries
And grassy green plains
Mother Nature left her kingdom
To be viciously slain
Down went the trees
And down went the earth
Garbage collected
Were a plague of her hearth
She sobbed and she cried
For days upon years
As her minions of life
Were chopped down by evil shears
