Black

Black

A Poem by Nyx
"

Maybe we all have black hearts, tinted with rose.

"
I couldn’t see!
Nothing but black
The color of night
Where the wolves begin their attack
And the trees sing melodies
So lonely and taut
The wind sweeps through the valley
As the creatures begin to rot
In the dark abyss
Of nothingness slain
the children inside
Curl up in restraint
They’re afraid of the dark
The void, you see?
Resides in us all
Hollow and empty

This is a great poem. I loved every line. I know what it is like to see nothing but black skies and grey clouds. Keep up the great work.
