BlueA Poem by NyxWhy are you so blue?
I cut open my wrists
To let the blood pour The color was blue Like the rain pour Or the tears that fell From my eyes so heavy To beg you to stay Don’t leave me, please let me Take both of your hands And place them on my wrists To cover the blood flow My veins leaked blue The color of morning dew A fresh snow in the winter dunes I cried and I cried Yet you never would stay So I was left in the winter Heart blue Fingers blue Skin blue To cover up the pain © 2019 Nyx |
