What I really desired was stillness-the soft blue waves of the ocean, swaying in a ubiquitous motion. I used to sit on the shore at night, gazing upon the waters covered in moonlight. The luminescent rays reflected the tears that fell from my face, pouty eyes full of secrets even the ocean couldn’t contain. I wished to dive into the waters at midnight, when the ocean no longer swayed left to right, left to right. No fear, no pain left to be felt; just the simple motion of the waves, reminding me of what my mind could never reach.
