Flutter

Flutter

A Poem by Triss Chandury
"

I was inspired by the picture that I had taken a while ago and just suddenly felt the urge to write about it.

"

Trembling wings unfurl

The sun breathes life into the tiny beauty

Drops of dew hover on the flower peatals as the whole world holds its breath

With a tiny shake the butterfly greets this next stage of life

Quietly and calmly taking in its world with

A flutter of its shimmering wings.

It's a true test of a good poet to be able to write an awesome poem so late at night, so congratulations! You write wonderfully, so simple, yet so terrific!
