Fallen leaves

Leaves fall along the breeze

being carried to unknown places

the trees swaying

animals scurrying across the road

children jumping in piles of leaves

frost covers the grass

the sky filled with clouds

the cold covers my face

as I look at the world around me

walking along the road of dirt and fallen leaves

rocks in my shoes

nowhere to go

I belong nowhere
