A Mother's Pain

A Mother's Pain

A Poem by Terohime
"

A Poem for my aunt, and her struggles when she lost her little boy. This goes out to her and all who lost a child.

"

A broken heart rests with in a devastated soul,

A young child just beginning to grow,

With a joyful mind and a glowing soul.

This young child sees the world as a whole,

Through eyes of the innocent,

evil dose not exist.

Everything is at peace,

so how can one resist,

when the dark reaper places his pawn.

That innocent life will soon be gone,

With the loss of a child the mother will weep,

She will want to fall in to a deep sleep.

As the years pass,

each hour seems like days,

Yet slowly it all will fade away.

Her heart will begin to mend,

And she will soon find a way,

to release her smile,

that brightens up the day.

Is this a personal poem? Felt like one. When it comes to losing love ones and even closer, nothing could be said to help mend the broken heart quicker. As for the poem, was deep and almost made be choke up with tears. I believe that children for ever live. They live in Heaven, where their illness is no more and peace for ever more. As for a mother of the child, I believe she will soon come to peace of mind, knowing the suffering is gone, and the child lives peacefully. If this is a personal experience, need to vent/ let loose your tears, I am here my friend.

Such a sad truth, it resonates within me in such a way, the way you communicate these thoughts in such an honest manner it is effective and has touched me, really caught me by surprise. Great job!

Amen, one that makes even the most tough of us shed a tear, well done.

Nothing worse than a child passing, even harder for a parent to live without their child, this is sobering and should make any parent hug their child that much longer, well done.
