False Purity

False Purity

A Poem by Will-house
"

Not sure how to describe this. Dark?

"

When I lie down

I just want to relax

and be left alone"

no I don't!"

I want a million stories

and voices to come alive!

That way there really are

others finally around me.

I want to experience peace

and relaxation, but I can only do it

through the chatter and abuse:

these two disassociated children

that nobody wants.

I explore these dark recesses

Because no one else will!

Forgotten compartments of my mind

no one knows exist.

These children are mine.

They aren't perfect, but last time I checked,

no one even knows what that really is!

So I'm taking these two,

the babble and the blamed,

and raising them with all the love

I can muster. Which isn't much,

but it's more than what's been given

since the time of their birth.

So I come here to take these two

because they are none.

Just disassociations I've constructed

while I wanted to relax and be alone.
