Why me ?

Something I wrote over the summer...I hope you enjoyed the poem more than I enjoyed life this summer...I'm just happy to be out of it

Why me,

What did I do to deserve to feel like this,

Did I wear my hair wrong,

Did I dress wrong,

Is it because I wear glasses,

Am I to Fat ?

Why is it me,

Getting pushed to the fence,

Why is it me

Getting bullied ,

Why

Why did he push me to the fence and make me feel like I was nothing,

I sat at dinner table one night at just didn’t eat a food off my plate,

I wanted to starve myself,

Why me,

Why am I the one getting bullied out of 39.54 Million people in CA,

Why me,

What did I do,

I call home sick every day to go home just to get away from him,

He made me cry,

He made me starev,

He made me hate myself,

He made me do everything,

And every since that year I have changed,

You should see my arm,

My leg,

My everything

My mood has changed,

My life changed

Everything I use to feel has changed,

So thank you

Wow, I am truly sorry that you went through all of that. I'm really glad that you wrote about it because I know for me when I write about things it makes me feel a lot better. I would say I understand what you went through cause I was also bullied but everyone's experience is different. I do want you to know that the best way to move forward is smile, laugh, and rub it in your bullies face. If you act happy even if you aren't (which I know is hard to do) then they won't mess with you. This was a great writing and I felt like I was in your shoes. I hope it is better now and that you never give up writing.

People can be so mean often through jealousy without looking at themselves first, there is no excuse for bullying, I was bullied all my life and it's hard to break the cycle of pain you feel every day for that, just remember your beautiful inside and out they are ugly, the way you feel is true feeling doesn't mean the words you listen to in your mind are true...try and stay strong...ugly people don't survive well on strength. Your amazing writer and are doing great xx

Honey, you need to disregard all the negative crap that gets thrown at you. Making yourself small just makes you harder target to hit. Know what? A lot of bullies take that as a challenge.
Don't do this. Don't shrink yourself; stand tall, be proud of the person YOU know you are, and walk with purpose and determination. This will give you a sort of armor. At the very least, You will bore them into stopping. It's no fun to throw things at someone who will not give the reaction a bully wants. He or she WANTS you to duck and cringe.
Don't give 'em the satisfaction.

This is a deeper question than most think. I always wonder why my wife doesn't get approached by homeless and I attract them like magnets. In school I got bullied a fair share and I don't think it was because there was anything wrong with me, but that I gave off a vibe that I was safe to approach. Not sure. I think bullies pick out their prey first and foremost by feeling their vibe. It gives them a sense of whether you are going to fight back or not. I could be wrong. Great thought provoking piece!!!
