Consumed

Consumed

A Poem by Teresa Bulger
"

A poem

"
Your mind will be consumed by guilt, doubt and despair
All opinions will be diminished without a fault or care

You'll spend your entire existence on what you can't achieve
Remain as the tragedy bleeding the tears you grieve

You'll learn defining the core of your being without losing control
The future is unknown but the depression has taken its last toll

You obey the confusion that imprisons the freedom you desire
You are now fully consumed by the terror poisoning your fire

You're the fear feeding the explosions of fatal attraction
You carry yourself in a manner that is demanding full attention

Watch your back as you crawl deeply inside your shell
Your cries will go unheard when you're taken back to hell

Consumed by depression? Must be a poet. Seems like we all are. Nice imagery and I do like poems that rhyme. Good job
