Happiness and Sadness

This is about the two phases in life we are forever passing through

two sides of life, like day and night,

one is gloom the other is bright,

one after another they come our way,

just as night turns to day,

incomplete we are without either one or all,

partners with us till we fall.

You seem to use the rhymes night and bright a lot, and you mentioned day and night twice in this poem. I think you have something to say, but you should spend more time trying to make each poem the best it can be.
