MumA Poem by Terence ShequeA tribute to a mother
God sent an angel,
And I called her Mum, From a hapless babe, to man I’ve become, She’s stood by me, and held me strong. With a firm rap she set me right, And her warm caress, my days were bright, She lifts me up, whenever I fall She’s always there, at my beck and call. Sleepless nights and silent tears, She prays for me and all my fears, And even though, I hurt her hard, She’s only love, an angelic guard. And I pray to God, and thank him right, For having his angel, to make my life bright. © 2017 Terence ShequeAuthor's Note
