Love as I know it

This poem speaks of love that goes beyond our normal reasoning.

 Love as I know it

To give of love in just one day

Giving all your love to one

Just one for that day

Not sure how to just let go

Give it all just in one day

How do you love a man

Just for one day

Hoping that the bond that you carry in your heart

Should finish the bridge that you started

You would think that the love in that one man's heart will help with your decisions

Hoping he doesn't make the decision to leave

Just be with him for a day in love is all he wants

Just to give him the love he is so ready to have

My heart it cries out for love of just one

My Irish love is all I want

Trying to block out the thoughts that he might leave

Hoping this bridge of love is enough for him to stay

Not just mental, spiritual or emotional love

He wants heart,body and soul 

Along with physical love
