Rinse/Repeat

Rinse/Repeat

A Poem by Terathopius
"

You will never escape.

"
Crawling, struggling, weak and weary

       Towards salvation’s open door

Deluded that I’ve won at last,

       The threshold I’ll pass o’er

Nay, again the witch’s grasp

Returns me to my misery

Oh vile beast voluptuous,

Lewd and sickening Succubus

This soul is yours, not mine.

Why did I betray my lust

        and leave your warmth behind?

Hold me at your bosom,

        Nowhere else so sublime

Keep me here forever,

        Your loving little concubine.

Crawling, weaker still and struggling greater

       Towards freedom’s open door

Confident, now, I’ve won for certain

I’ll be her slave no more

But reaching far, her cold, clawed hand

Returns me to my violator.
